Normally, the NumberOk re-activation process looks as follows:
1. Deactivate the license key.
3. Install NumberOk with a new license key.
If you would like to preserve settings, please, employ the following workaround:
1. Quit NumberOk if it is up and running
2. Go to C:\ProgramData\FF\NumberOk3\
3. Open NumberOk.ini
4. Try locating the License.Auth and License.Key (somewhere around row 53). These might be absent if NumberOk deactivated itself upon demo license expiration.
5. If License.Auth is present then remove the entire row.
6. If License.Key is present then replace the key sequence (follows the pattern XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXX) with a key provided to you. Otherwise, add a new row starting with License.Key and having the key appended to it.
6. Save and close NumberOk.ini
7. Launch NumberOk
8. Go to Settings > General
9. Check the Key No. matches the one you’ve been provided with
10. Check that Valid until indicates some date in the future
The key replacement procedure is almost identical to the License Upgrade procedure.
1. Deactivate your current key through the user interface. Tab "Settings" - "Main" - "Deactivate license". Do not delete the database and configuration file. After successful deactivation, Numberok will automatically close.
2. Open the NumberOK.ini configuration file (you can find it in the C:\ProgramData\FF\NumberOk3 folder) with a text editor and replace the key in the License.Key line with a new one.
3. Remove the entire License.Auth line if present.
4. Save the configuration file and close it.
5. Run NumberOK in normal mode and make sure that on the tab "Settings" - "Main" in the field of build information your new license key is displayed.
