CAMMRA stores image data based on the type of crop configuration selected. The storage requirement per event depends on whether the system is saving:
Only License Plate (LP) crops
Vehicle crops (which include LP crops)
Full Frame images (which also include LP crops)
CAMMRA image sizes can vary significantly due to:
Lighting conditions
Scene complexity
JPEG compression quality
Motion or blur in the frame
SD Card usage
(Assumes maximum file sizes: LP = 10 KB, Vehicle = 370 KB, Full Frame = 550 KB)
Note: max. database size in CAMMRA is 100.000 events
To ensure reliable performance always reserve SD CARD space based on chosen image type configuration.
The tables consider the growing database size, ensuring safe and realistic planning for CAMMRA long-term operation.
Continuous video recording can consume several gigabytes of SD card space, potentially leaving less or no room for CAMMRA to store event images and database entries.
